Zach has worked in finance and capital markets for over 12 years, and has served in a variety of real estate specific roles including acquisitions, asset management and development. Since 2017, Zach has focused primarily on equity and debt placement, contributing to the closings of greater than $1 billion in real estate transactions. Zach’s real estate experience spans across all major property types, ranging from 100-unit LIHTC multifamily properties to $500 million medical office portfolios. Previously, Zach managed a multifamily portfolio consisting of approximately 2,500 units located throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, and has extensive experience analyzing and operating properties in these markets. He has led the acquisition/disposition and re-positioning efforts for affordable and market rate multifamily properties valued in excess of $200 million. Zach is responsible for investment and asset management for Second Landing.
Zach received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate Development and Finance from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. A Maryland native, Zach resides in Potomac, MD with his wife, son and dog, and is an active member of Urban Land Institute.
