Zach Maggin

Brief info

Zach received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School.  A Maryland native, Zach resides in Potomac, MD with his wife and dog, and is an active member of Urban Land Institute.

Zach has worked in finance and capital markets for over 12 years, and has served in a variety of real estate specific roles including acquisitions, asset management and development. Since 2017, Zach has focused primarily on underwriting and due diligence for private equity and debt placement transactions across all major property types, ranging from 100-unit LIHTC multifamily properties to $500 million medical office portfolios. Previously, Zach has managed a multifamily portfolio consisting of approximately 2,500 units located throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, and has extensive experience analyzing properties in these markets. He has led the acquisition/disposition and re-positioning efforts for affordable and market rate multifamily properties valued in excess of $200 million. Zach is responsible for underwriting, financial due diligence, and investment strategy for Second Landing.
