2205 40th Place

2205 40th Place is the first redevelopment by Second Landing and delivered in June 2020. The project scope included excavating and underpinning an existing 4-unit building to create two new cellar units for a total of six apartment units. The second level units were expanded with the addition of a third story, creating two bi-level units with rooftop patios. Condo grade finishes were installed through-out, including hardwood floors, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The building also features a keyless entry system for added convenience. Located in the desirable Glover Park neighborhood of Washington, DC, the property is a half mile north of Georgetown, and within walking distance to a variety of dining, shopping, and recreational options in the city.

2201 40th Place

2201 40th Place is the second redevelopment by Second Landing. Delivered in November 2020, the project scope included the same enhancements as 2205 40th Place, converting a 4-unit building into a 6-unit building. A corner plot, the larger property area allowed for additional gross square footage of the building from the renovations completed at 2205 40th Place. This finish area was added to the bi-level units, expanded to include an additional bedroom and bathroom on the 3rd story – a unique unit offering in the area.
